Trouble in Zion / The Great Pumpkin!

A couple of nights ago, I woke up because I heard a noise outside. It was a thud and then running feet. I jumped out of bed and turned on our porch light, but no one was there. The next morning we woke up to find our beautiful arbor pushed over,(it was CEMENTED in the ground) and my fountain pushed over. Both were cracked, but not totally broken. We looked down the street to see a path of destruction...Cars vandalized, things in other yards pushed over, and the worst thing of all....SMASHED PUMPKINS!!! AAAAAAHH! I ran over to our pumpkin patch, and to my great relief our pumpkins had been spared! Phew! But I was not going to tempt fate! Even though our "giant pumpkins" were not as big as we had originally hoped,(I guess you're supposed to water them or something;) ) it was time to harvest!! We are going to carve the biggest one into a castle; I'll post pictures on Halloween!

I can't believe someone would do something like that! It's like throwing pop in someone's face at a drive-through or throwing bananas from your car...I'm guilty. I'm glad your pumpkin is safe. I bet if Kennedi and Klare had been outside when those turds came your arbor and fountain would be safe too.

How sad! I am so sorry this happened. :( Luckily it wasn't any worse and your pumpkins were fine. :)
