We spent a wonderful family weekend at San Juan Island for some much needed R&R and family time. I have tried to post this 3 times, hopefully 3rd times a charm! Grandma and Grandpa rented a beautiful house on the island for us all to stay in, The HorseShoe Hacienda! Matt, Lisa, Vanessa, Jason (he's psychic), and Megan flew up from Utah to join us all. We enjoyed a beautiful, sunny ferry ride; whale watching; pony rides; discovering an awesome toy store; Roche Harbor...beautiful!; attending a sacrament meeting that was broadcast by speaker phone....very cool! ; and spotting a bald eagle (Mom, you got my back on this one!). Above all, we loved seeing all our family, cooking meals together, playing games together, and checking for eggs in the chicken coop together! What a perfect weekend! Thanks Mom and Dad! WE LOVE YOU! Michelle, we sure missed you guys and thought of you every minute!

Thanks for posting these pictures. Vanessa is still talking about the "horsey" and still wants to "go get egg." No doubt your girls have fond memories of this trip. I wish we all lived closer to each other!
By the way, do you have any pictures of the chickens? I realized we didn't take a single one while we were there!
