Karlin got up early for a bike ride and I got the girls all dressed up for the ward flag raising ceremony.
Karlin got home and he and the girls hurried off to make it there on time....9am.....to bad it started a 8am everyone else had already left. All dressed up and nowhere to go!
Not to worry...Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Mark were on the way! The girls made firework t-shirts (a better look at those in the pic below) and this yummy brownie pizza with Grandma. The guys went to Boom City (a.k.a. The Reservation) and brought back an excellent selection of fireworks. As for me? I took a much needed nap,

I had so much fun with the girls! I love doing crafts and cooking with kids, they are so easy to please!
The picture of the girls crashed out is pretty close to what I looked like the minute we hit the freeway for home! Thanks Grandpa for letting me sleep!
