An Overhauled Christmas

The Kersavage Family Overhaul continues! Since my youth, I have felt that Christmas was over-commercialized. Having medical bills was just the kick in the pants I needed to instute my HOME-MADE CHRISTMAS!!! (Above: Stocking coupons and silhouettes)

Klare and Kennedi made each other felt flower accessories. They loved the one on one time with mom to make them and sneaking them into each others stockings. We "play" santa at our house.

I made these vintage sewing cards for the girls from a free download. They loved them! Karlin's right arm is now buffer than ever before, after he punched all those holes for me. He was totally sweating by the end...:)

Daddy gussied up their table and rocker with a fresh coat of paint and crystal nob.

And in the stockings? No candy! The kids didn't even miss it! We got giant pomegranites and enormous apples instead...Yumm!

Okay....So I did buy there main gift....pink guitars! I couldn't make those.

I think it was all a success....Home made is our new tradition.

Santa didn't forget our Christmas guests, Fluffy and Snowball from Kennedi's class.

And as we opened our gifts, the snow continued to fall.
We were loading up to head to Longview when I asked Karlin to take the van around the block to get a feel for the roads....this is as far as Vanny got.....she was totally stuck.
Our sweet neighbors took us in for Christmas dinner! It was wonderful! Candles, prime rib, wonderful friends, the whole nine...
A fabulous overhauled Christmas!
