After the morning festivities, we went to our friends for a BBQ.
The kid's made liberty torches.....
and edible bald eagles!
Klare didn't want any coconut, so her's really was bald.

Klare's dislike of fireworks started with the sparklers....
....and was sealed with the loud booms.
Happy Day!!! My friend brought ear plugs for all!

A few minutes in our own cul de sac, and then off to bed. I was exhausted!
