Gratitude: Week 2

Today I am grateful for Klare.

When asked what she learned at church today, she replied, "Today Sister Cilva was grouchy, so we scrubbed her toilet....That's what you do for people when they are grouchy, you scrub their toilet." Hmmmm.....

While snuggling Krew after church, in a very loving sweet voice she says, "Mom, you know what I'm not going to do to Krew? I'm not going to kill him or sell him."
Me, "Wow, that's really sweet of you Klare."
What DID she learn at church today?! Maybe something about Abraham and Isaac? Joseph being sold into Egypt? A mother's mind.....

Later, when leaving from dinner at our friend's, the kids ran out in the front lawn for a minute as we said thank you and good bye. When I got to the van, Klare excitedly exclaims, "Mom! Do you know what I just saw?! A shooting cloud!"
Me- "Oooh."
Klare- "Do you know what a shooting cloud is? It's a cloud that goes really fast and then disappears!"
Me- "Uh-huh...."
I glance up in the sky to see a spotlight race across a passing cloud and then disappear into the open sky. She was right! A shooting cloud!

So. Fun.

So funny, I needed a good laugh and Klare is always so funny!

BTW-she is learning the same thing we both taught yesterday, "I can choose the right by remembering what Jesus would want me to do." So it makes sense that Jesus would want you to clean a grouchy person's toilet and not sell or kill your brother! You must tell her primary teacher that her lessons are getting through, it will make her day!!!

Awesome!! I love the comment about Krew! She is freakin' hilarious. Makes me glad to know my kids aren't the only ones talking about killing. Is that picture at the top of your blog a temple?
