Gratitude: Week 7

This week I am grateful for a full life. There is never a dull moment around here. Last week, I had a meeting at 7pm every night for different things. By Friday, I was exhausted. I was starting to wonder if I am trying to do too much. Whenever I start to feel the weight of my work load, I am reminded of how blessed I am to be here and have the capacity to do it. There have been times in my life when I couldn't do it...back was out, had a baby, husband hospitalized, etc......Those times, and many other great examples around me, have taught me that the ability to work is a gift. I once heard that if a man is choosing the right and working hard, he's happy. Loosing the ability to work is a trial I have faced only in very small doses. I am grateful. Pieces of my full week:
Klare brought me this creation. A DON'T BREAK THE ICE mallet, a hair claw, and a cylindrical block....."Look Mom! It's Jesus!" I love that their knowledge of the gospel permeates even their play time...
Cousin sleepover!
The man below used Klare's motorized toothbrush to scrub the carpet. It is now full of hair. She was not pleased.
But how can you get angry at a face like that?
Valentine's cake with our lovely host and neighbor here in Zion, Laura. Such a treat.
Michelle's cream scones with strawberries and whipped cream for a bedtime treat!

Ah yes, I remember those days. I don't know how I did it, but I'm glad Heavely Father gives us children when we are young and have some energy!

Love Klare's creation of Jesus!

Thanks for the reminder. Hopefully I can remember that next week and keep up on my housework! Love Klare's imaginative Jesus, Krew's mask and Kennedi's peacock on her wall! Cute, cute kids, I miss them!
