This is my island in the sun, oy! oy! The tempsin our typically mild northwest reached 100
degrees this weekend, so we headed for Jetty
Island! It's a 2 mile long man made sand bar
created to protect the Everett Naval Station.
Our little dare devil, Klare, will not be left out
of anything the older kids are doing!
Kennedi has become quite the fish since starting
swimming lessons a couple of weeks ago!
Klare fell in love with the sand! Of course, like all
other toys, she had to put it in her mouth to fully
inspect it. We had a wonderful day and didn't even
realize how hot it was with the wonderful breeze.

LOVE the pic of Kennedi with the kite! That could win an award! The girls are DARLING. And you really look great, my friend. Way to go with getting the kids out of the house while your teeth are in pain!! BTW, that island looks really cool...wonder if Parker would be as brave as Klare?
Looks like fun! I wish we could escape the heat and go to a beach. All we have is a public pool that the seagulls use as a "float and poop" on Sunday. The girls are cute (you're girls).
