Last year,
Klare was "2 and a half " 6 months past her 3rd birthday. She did not want to be three. This year, she was
ready to be 4, so we celebrated with 4 parties.
A
movie and pizza party with her friends on Friday.

Baylin, Rachel, Whitney,
Kennedi, Caleb, and Karma.
A pink princess cake, per her request.
And party with
Kitty Grandma and Grandpa.
A party with the
Kersavage family.
And a neighborhood pizza party! We
adore our neighbors, they are the salt of the earth. We believe the Lord placed us in our house just so we could associate with them. Yes, they really are that incredible.... And it just so happens that
4 of us have a birthday in November!!! A great excuse to get together after the
rain has chased us off our front lawns into our private abodes. Here are the birthday girls blowing out the candles....

I searched and searched for the
perfect frosting recipe this year. After making 5 batches, still not finding it. Maybe next year.

Like I said in an earlier post, what a girl! She has such spunk, and we love her so much. She has really come out of her "shell" so to speak in the last six months, and it is so fun to see her personality develope!
happy birthday, klare bear! that cake looks divine. i'm sure it tasted that way too. so if you're still looking for something to bring for turkey day, that cake gets my vote. who needs pie?
