R.I.P.

Karlin and I decided it was time to get serious about life. I go day to day wanting to save the children of the Congo, bring toys to the orphans of Iraq, feed and immunize every baby born to man kind! The reality is, I am a mother. And in being such, have my own family to attend to today....I'll have to save the world tomorrow. Time to stop daydreaming about grand global plans and make some changes here at home.

The first phase of my proposed "Kersavage Family Overhaul" has had varying effects on the children...
Kennedi has found solace in the literary world. Junie B. is her new best friend.
Klare is still in the mourning process, but adapting to our new way of life. She has found that tormenting her sister is a satisfying way to pass the time.

Krewsie has not yet noticed a change....he is too busy calling strangers in foreign countries.
What is this great change of which I speak???
HERE LIES COMCAST.

May it rest in peace.

You are so brave!! :) Maybe when we move we'll do the same.. right now our cable is included in our rent, so its hard to just unplug it when we know its always there!!
PS I want to save every orphan and foster care child who needs a home, and Steve has to remind me that we have years ahead of us to do that. :)

Yay for you! We don't have any TV channels and haven't since March. We are all still alive and doing quite well. :) Some people think we are crazy, but it works for us. And Junie B is a favorite at our house right now, too!

LOL! We moved in July into a place where you actually can't get cable, and Chris thought he was going to die! It took me a while to get out of the habit too, but now I really like it.... but don't you worry we still watch the occasional show online. But still, WAY less tv. It's a good thing!

Way to go, wish I could have done that many years ago when I was fighting everyone about MTV! It is much worse now!

I love seeing Kennedi reading for enjoyment! Poor Klare, give her a few years and she will be doing like her big sis. And Mr. Krew won't ever know what he is missing, having not grown up with TV.

Mollie - you will love it. We have been without cable for 5+ years and have never missed it. I love it that my kids don't know who Hanna Montana is...
