Which is sometimes true.
Then, there are times like these. It seems difficult news for friends and family are around each twist in the trail. WHY? WHY? WHY?
I have been searching for answers. You know, the kind I really already know, but have to learn again and again until my brain accepts them as law.
On the horizon of my mind, there are miles of jagged peaks ahead and no valley in sight. And of course, the valley is only enjoyable if your friends and family are there with you. So I want to solve everyone's problems. Simple things like cancer, epilepsy, divorce, unemployment. I should be able to fix all that, right?
In my search for answers, I came across a scripture in the New Testament that talked about being joint sufferers with Christ. And I felt peace. Suffering the most fatiguing climb will only make us more like Him.
Compassionate. Charitable. Humble. Loving. Accepting. Diligent. Faithful.
Why are we here? To become like him. He has faith in us to make it to the top of each mountain and beyond.
I am reminded, patiently by a loving Father, "All things will work together for your good if you love God."
The harder the climb to get to the top, the more beautiful is the view at the summit.
If Hannah Montana already has it down, I better start climbing.

Thanks for the reminder of why we are here and what the Savior has done for all of us! I needed it today!
