Kennedi has been stung by a bee 7 times in her 7 years. Three of the seven times, it was in our house (Hornets nest in the attic....came through the can lights.....nightmare for a child). I don't blame the poor girl for her residual disdain for flying insects.
With the return of spring, doors have been left open more. This means flies (and occasional bees) in the house. After seeing her run to her room and slam the door in a panic several times, I decided "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!" No child should live in fear in their own home! I gave Kennedi here very own license to kill....

tell her I know how she feels, to this day I hate ALL flying bugs, including butterflies if they get too close to me!
