For the girl's birthday presents and my Christmas present this year, Kitty Grandma treated us all to the Nutcracker! It was Klare's 1st and Kennedi's Second. As soon as the curtain lifted, Klare leaned over in shock and whispered loudly, "Mom, those girls are NOT modest!""Yes, honey, that is how they dress in a ballet."-m
"Oh...."-k
A few minutes later, enter the LIFE-SIZE Nutcracker in extremely tight white tights.
"Mom! The boys aren't modest either! He's only wearing tights!"-k
"Yes, it's okay."-m
"But you can see his boodie!"-k
"Shhhhh, remember to whisper darling!"
Classic.
It was perfectly beautiful! How blessed we are!
Afterwards, to Drees! A perfect December Saturday, and a tradition set. Next year we must grow our party.....Michelle?

Yes! I took(forced) Ryan to the Nutcracker this year. So fun!
Loved it, especially with all of you! Klare was hilarious, and Kennedi so attentive!
It is a wonderful tradition, and it would be awesome for our group to grow larger each year! We have lots of others in the family who would love it too! Hope they can make it sometime.
