Our Christmas Letter

Merry Christmas! We hope this year has been good to you! Anyone who will take the time to read this letter at such a busy time of year surely loves us, so we want to thank you for all you have meant to our family in the last year! Every prayer has been heard and our family continues to see the Lord's hand in our life. And it's a pretty darn good life. Here's the update:

Krew "Danger" Kersavage, 18 months- Most days, lately, are spent trying to preserve Krew's life. Krew's interests are weapons (i.e. steak knives, scissors, screw drivers, and even wielding spatulas), heights (only if the perch is precariously narrow), and hide-and-go-seek in large crowded public areas. Luckily for him, he has three mothers. The Lord new what he was doing when he sent us girls first! Though Karlin will deny it, I know he is secretly proud of his little dare devil! Boys! He is incredibly charming and easy going, and almost always wears a smile. He loves books, animals, trucks, balls, and music.

Klare "Chocolate" Kersavage, 5- "Can I have some ice cream?" asks Klare at 8am. She loves sugar as much as her mama. She is blossoming at pre-school and loves her ballet class. She also relishes her new role of big sister and is seriously protective of Krew. Klare dreams of having a house full of animals, but I tell her that for right now Krew is our puppy. She is delightfully assertive, and keeps us all in stitches with her off the cuff comments. She has a fabulous sense of style, and loves a good movie. She has grown spiritually this year, as well, as her prayers are quite sincere and faithful.

Kennedi "Cruise Director" Kersavage, 8- "I have an idea!" Kennedi loves to contribute every where she goes! She has become quite the writer and illustrator this year. She reads late into the night, until she and I are the only ones left awake, and I have to force her to close the book and her eyes! She continues to enjoy soccer, and started piano this fall. When she was baptized in October, we saw a beautiful new maturity bloom. She is a fast learner, and always teachable. She loves peacocks, art, and reading.

What a joy these children truly are to Karlin and I.

Mollie "Stop and Smell the Roses" Kersavage, 30- "Sure, I CAN DO THAT!" This year, no one could tell me no. I did too much and loved every minute of it...uh, scratch that, ALMOST every minute of it! I served as our ward activity chair (parties), on the board of PACE as the enrichment chair (more celebrations), and as the Kersavage Family Director of Domestic Events (again, more fun). It's a rough job, but someone's got to do it...

Karlin "Precious Cargo!" Kersavage, 36- When Karlin could not drive for several months after his accident, I was his personal chauffeur. As I took one corner a wee bit too quickly, everyone in the car slid to one side...."Precious cargo!" Karlin exclaimed, as he cradled his noggin in his hands. *Guilty laughter* Well the phrase stuck. I pull it when I am trying to convince him to be more careful, he pulls it when he is guilty of acting crazy. This year has been a great, miraculous year of healing for Karlin. His fighting spirit is an inspiration to me. His goal is to repeat the summer previous to his accident this summer (2010), minus the accident! He hopes to complete the STP and climb Mt. Rainier. And he can do it, too.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! Love to you all!
