Gratitude: Week 14

April Fool's Day....Got Karlin good and early in the morning by having a friend roll his truck down our street and around the corner. The exhaust on it is too loud for me to have started it and moved it myself, he would have heard me. So he heads out the door to work and comes back in to say, "My truck is GONE!!!" Cutest thing I ever saw. I had plans to keep the farce going, but lost it to a case of the giggles.

Mollie = A+ for preparation, F for follow through......Room to improve for next year.
Karlin = A+ for good sportsmanship, B+ for retaliation (He got me pretty good, but there was no premeditation)
Also had a war going with the girls. I put blue dye in the faucets. They switched the cereal bags in the boxes and Karlin and I's underwear drawers. A few days later at the grocery store, Klare excitedly told a neighbor, "We switched Daddy's underwear so now he has bras!"
"Oooooohhh.......", confused and awkward faced neighbor. I quickly explained. Love April Fool's!
Easter was messy this year, in more ways than one. (Let's not go there.) I'm glad it's over. And, as is the usual case after a big mess, some good comes from it.

Pretty mess.
Kissable mess.
Delicious mess.

The true feast was General Conference. Loved it and can't wait for October!

So cute! Love how you got Karlin, Krew's sweet messy face, and Klare's comment to your neighbor! You can always count on your kids to tell the truth when you would rather they didn't!
