BESSY! (Or "Messy", as Klare says.) Karlin and I have been on the fence over getting a pet. I have not been in total favor because I don't want another mouth to feed or appointment to fit in if the pet needed a vet. Karlin does not like poop and pee. BUT....the girl's LOVE animals! Sooo, our neighbor here in Zion is a teacher at the local high school. Apparently, one of the students at the school entered some cow painting contest and no longer wants the cow. Our neighbor was looking for a good home for the cow and recalled Karlin's love of cows (He was raised on a farm.) She asked us if we were interested and our response was unanimous! So, we loaded up Bessy in the back of the pick up brought her home! We plan to repaint her like a tradition heifer, black and white, though Kennedi has brought it to my attention that, "We need to paint her 'gutters' pink!" We plan to anchor her in the back yard for what I am sure will be many a fond memories made.

What a perfect pet! All it does is sit there and look cute. I'm sure you are the envy of the neighborhood! Can't wait to meet her!
oh my gosh you are CRAZY!! ha! that is so awesome, especially considering karlin's love of cows. for his loooove of poop, you may tell him i'm sending some cow pies his way.
