Kennedi is becoming such an artist! I love pictures, like this one of a girl with braided hair, when she draws from a different perspective. She has started to include things like distance and it's impact on size in her drawings, also.

A personal favorite of mine....a picture of Ariel when she is going to eat with Prince Eric for the first time. Might we have a future Disney cartoonist in our family?

Or perhaps a composer? This is the first song
Kennedi has written.

A week or so ago,
Kennedi asked if she could make invitations to her family birthday party. Her birthday is in OCTOBER! (Help!) So I said go for it. She then asked me to make copies of her invitation. To preserve ink and keep her busy, I told her to be her own copy machine. She drew 9 nearly
identical pictures, with out looking at the last, simply from memory. This alone may not seem that impressive; the real amazement came when I found a picture
I had drawn for
Kennedi 4 weeks earlier that had been left in our church bag...It was
identical to the picture she had drawn! And she had only seen it for a couple of minutes at church 4 weeks ago!

A close up. She actually did not do her best work here, she was in a hurry to get them all done! It is such a joy to see their talents
develop!

I like kids' art. You should frame her best ones.
I agree she is a wonderful artist. I wish we lived closer, I think Kennedi and Anne would get along famously.
that is AMAZING! seriously, i cannot believe her talent. i don't know how you decide what to keep and what to throw away...they're all so beautiful!
Now didn't I always tell you that she had a talent?!? I'll bet she would love an art class! Tell her Grandma says hi and I love and miss her.
Are you kidding me??? I can't believe she drew those. When I was her age, I was still drawing people with stick arms and legs, circle heads and square bodies! That is so cool!!! She is way talented!
I can't believe the perspective drawing (1st one)! Kennedi truly does have some artistic talent. I'm glad you thought to share those on the blog. I think she's hitting that age where she is really able to express herself and her interests (you see bits of it younger, but it comes into focus as they grow). Give Kennedi and Klare big hugs from us!
WOW! Those are amazing Mollie! My favorite is the first one! WOW!
