This weekend we spent a night at the Great Wolf Lodge with some friends. It is a 56,000 square foot indoor water park with an adjoining resort. This room was kept at about 85 degrees, just perfect to run around in your skivvies.

Since MY doctor took me off bed rest, but has given me instructions to take the anti-labor meds and "listen to my body", I fully enjoyed hanging out by the pool and being the camera girl. The humidity in the park foiled some of my best shots, but this one is clear and has Kennedi in the back ground, our best family shot.

Here is our super brave Kennedoo...check out that form. She tried every slide in the park, except one. She loved them all! If she was not on a slide, you could find her under any given water fall or laying on a tube riding the waves of the wave pool.

Klare had so much fun, she plain wore herself out! She slept 3 hours on this chair! Her favorite thing to do was splash anyone and everyone in the shallow kiddie area and ride on Daddy's lap in the wave pool.

At night, they have a fun show and bedtime stories for the kids in the lobby. Kennedi and Klare loved Yellow Feather, the Native American girl who stars in the show.

Klare LOVED her "wolf cave". In her prayer that night , it was not forgotten,"...thank you for my wolf cave." They both fought over who would get the top bunk, only to end up too scared to sleep up there. In the end they both shared the bottom bunk.

One of the funnest parts was waking up to snow (in the middle of April!) and then putting on our swimsuits again and spending the day in a warm water world! The girls haven't stopped asking when we can go back!

Wow, that looks so fun! Where is that?
It sure was fun to come for a "visit" while you were "camping" at the Great Wolf!
It was so much more exciting and family friendly than I had anticipated! It would make a great place for a weekend family reunion sometime!
Glad you all had fun!
evy, this is right between tumwater and centralia. they say the town is grand mound?
Very brave to go down the water slide. I would never have the courage to do that. :)
good times! it was fun to see pics of all of the places you told me about! i especially like the song choice...very nostalgic, no? ;)
That looks so sweet! I'm way jealous! Love the song too, although I had hoped you would have uploaded the version of you singing it yourself!
