We had the funnest evening as passengers on the Spirit of Washington dinner train! We were in the 'Murder Mystery' car and it was so awesome! When you call to make reservations for this, they ask a few questions about each guest, (hobbies, nicknames, employment....). When you board, there are a few actors who already know a little about you and begin to build a story around those in the group that night, about 50 people. As our story unfolded through the night, Kennedi ('the world's smallest wrestler' which derived from her nickname being 'Sport' at one time) was named as one of the suspects. Uncle Kyle, also known as 'Hamster Hands', was also named a suspect. Soon Grandma was 'Ma Kersavage' of our infamous crime family. By the end of the night, Kennedi was arrested for the crime with Grandma as the master mind. It was all too much fun! As we got in the van at the end of the night, we were teasing Kennedi about being a criminal....She responded with, "If it hadn't been for that train, I wouldn't be in this mess!" Kids are sooo much fun! I was a little worried how they would be on the train for 3 hours, but they ended up making the evening more memorable than I could have hoped for.

how FUN! you didn't mention a word about this on the phone!
i have so many questions about this...where did the train take you? did they have a stage in your car, or did they act things out in the isle? how was the dinner?
kennedi cracks me up!! i can totally see her saying that. cute girl. your family shot is great, and i love the new song. looks like you were definitely haveng fun, guys!
Michelley, no stage...just had microphones and walked up and down the isle and handed you a microphone if they were talking with you so everyone could hear; the train went to the Columbia Winery where there was a BEAUTIFUL gift shop with lots of yummy gourmet treat and home decor, a beautiful outdoor garden, and a tour of the barrel cellar (where a second murder victim was found); the dinner was excellent! your choice of steak, salmon, or stuffed chicken! Along with the beautiful scenery along the way and the great company, this truly was an unforgettable night! Oooh, it was so much fun!
That sounds awesome. I love Kennedi's comment. Where did the ride start? Is that winery the one right next to Bothell? We drove by it a few times when we were up there, and it was beautiful. It's funny how in the PNW they think of nice, classy names for trains, as opposed to Utah's attempt...the Heber Creeper. Sounds more like a sneaky poo than a train.
How fun! What a neat experience! Kennedi cracks me up!
