Kennedi's Hawaiian Un-Birthday Party

We celebrate Kennedi's birthday in the summer with her friends, even though her real b-day is in October, because it is a less crazy time of year. This year's theme is the direct result of Kennedi finding my Oriental Trading Co. catalog. It was the summer catalog and had all sorts of luau paraphernalia. She immediately began planning, and mercy can this girl plan! She has enough creative ideas to keep 10 mothers busy! This hula girl cake was her idea, although the Junior Mint coconut bra was my suggestion. ;)
She greeted each guest at the door, gave them a lei, and said and I quote, "Helloha!" I tried to set her straight, but it was no use.
From the moment that the idea of a luau emerged, Kitty Grandma was on the prowl for cute Hawaiian supplies! We really scored with these adorable matching skirts she made the girls...perfect! Thanks Gramma!
