Kennedi has had an absolutely fabulous year at Miss Rosie's. At my end of the year parent-teacher conference Miss Rosie informed me that
Kennedi is what they call the afternoon class "CRUISE DIRECTOR". Apparently
Kennedi, being one of the oldest girls, took it upon herself to direct all forms of free playtime. When Miss Rosie was not conducting a specific activity, and the children were given options on what to do,
Kennedi would immediately take over and make assignments to each child as to their role in what was going to be played. She truly has a sense of creativity that can not be matched! Along with this, she can plan and plan and plan until the cows came home. She made wonderful friends, (pictured is our carpool group: Whitney,
Kennedi, and Grace) and learned
SOOOOO much! Miss Rosie graduated from
BYU and taught Kindergarten before she had children, she has an amazing ability to teach!
Kennedi came home everyday with some fact about bugs or bears or whatever they were studying that month. They also
learned soo many cute songs! Our favorite was "Rain on the Doghouse!" And,
germophobe that I am, I am so pleased to say that
Kennedi did not miss one day of preschool due to illness! Miss Rosie
definitely kept things sanitary (and in a class with 12 five year old
petri dishes this is an accomplishment! )As I sat there at graduation, watching my sweet little girl sing some of the songs they have learned, I did get a wee bit misty....I am all to aware of have fast the time will fly. It is incredible to me the blessing she has been in my life. True joy.... All in all, a perfect year of preschool, now on to KINDERGARTEN! (it's okay, I think I'll be alright.....by the third or fourth month of school...sniff. sniff. ;) )

I'm getting misty just thinking of it for you! What an exciting/sad day it will be her first day of school! I'm glad she enjoyed preschool so much, what a nice head start she'll have!
I'm glad she had such a good year, just a prep for kindergarten. I'll bet you will cry when you drive off and leave her the first day! It is a little sad but just one of the first milestones down the wonderful road of motherhood!
kennedi has such a fun personality! i loved to hear miss rosie's report on her. she will be miss popular at school, just like her mama.
you already know that i cry when people win on the price is right. yesterday on the plane, i cried when people clapped and cheered for the flight attendants' jokes and songs. i don't have a prayer for when parker heads off to school.
That's awesome that she had such a good year! She is really a leader, and who wouldn't want to follow her? I really admire the way you and Karlin are with your girls.
